The Arabian Element is a culmination of many of my hopes and dreams. It is where honesty, integrity, passion, and dedication all come together. On the surface, it may appear that The Arabian Element is a typical tale of achievement in the Arabian horse industry, however, my definition of achievement has a whole other meaning. Nestled alongside the St. Lawrence River in Spencerville, Ontario, Canada, only minutes from the Ogdensburg, New York border, and within a short thirty minute drive from Canada's capital city of Ottawa - there is a place that has come to be known as “the little place that could” by my friends and family. Here, each horse has a special place in my heart and special care is taken to cater not only to their physical health, but perhaps more importantly, to their mental health and happiness.

The Arabian Element is home to a small, but very impressive group of Arabian horses whose pedigree's represent champions world wide. I have begun to mold a breeding program which is beginning to attract international attention and I am passionately focused on breeding Arabian horses of extreme beauty, Arabian horses that are capable of winning at the highest levels of competition internationally. I am determined to breed Arabian horses that will have the athletic ability as well as the mind set to have a performance career later on. My Arabian horse involvement began many years ago when my family purchased a 1/3 interest in the talented show mare, Bold Glory (Basks Bold One x Tahjean) from Springwater Farms in New Jersey. Bold Glory was the epitome of an Arabian show horse. Her charisma, attitude and loving disposition made her extra special. She was a consummate show horse, winning numerous ribbons at the Class A, Regional, Scottsdale and National Level in Country, English and Native Costume.

In 1995, my mother Suzanne, who is the reason I became involved with the Arabian horse, lost her battle to breast cancer. Her passing was extremely hard on me and I took a brief hiatus from Arabians determined that someday I would return to Arabian horses and live out our dreams of owning, breeding and showing Arabian horses. My mom taught me values, love and friendships and to understand that life is so precious and to make every moment count. The Arabian Element is a dedication to her beautiful life and a representation of love, health, peace and happiness.

I never imagined the joy and happiness I would encounter being involved with Arabian horses and meeting so many wonderful friends all around the world. 2008 was the birth of my first bred Arabian. A most gorgeous chestnut filly with such extreme features. What made this filly so special is that not only do I own the dam of this filly, but I also owned her sire as well. I think the biggest satisfaction with breeding Arabian horses is knowing that the horses you breed will go on and bring joy and success to other people's lives. This gorgeous filly, Sonjadora El Jamaal (*Apollo El Jamaal x Last Luv), has made her new home in the beautiful country of France and I am very proud to have become the youngest person in Arabian horse history to have not only owned both the sire and dam, but to have bred and marketed such a gorgeous filly to Europe.

All the wonderful things that continue to come with Arabian horse ownership; The incredible people who I have met along the way and the people who have helped guide me over the past 22 years of my life. I am so thankful for the many friendships I have made and I look forward to many more friendships as I continue on this beautiful journey with the Arabian horse. I am where I am today because of all the kind and caring people who helped and gave me the oportunity to realize my dreams, I am so thankful.

My achievements have not been garnering Regional and National Championships, rather, it has been a personal achievement of becoming involved with the best breed of all, making friends who will last a life time and sharing our love for the Arabian horse, together!
